Roe Deer Stalking
Deer stalking is available for all, from beginners who will be accompanied to the experienced who after a few shots on the range will be allowed to stalk on their own. An estate rifle is available.
The estate is over 4000 acres including woodland and fell, mainly Roe but a few Reds are passing through.
High seats and hides are situated around the estate if required. Some easily reachable for our less energetic stalkers. Accommodation is available in the nearby village. B&B or a small cottage to rent, your choice.
Stalking prices available on request starting from £45 per outing. that's a morning or evening stalk, A small fee will be added if you need the estate rifle and or need to be accompanied.

All aspects regarding the Deer Stalking Certificate level 2 are catered for. Kevin is an accredited witness for BASC,
This includes.
Pre D.S.C. level 2 training.
A must if you have only just completed the D.S.C. level 1.
The level 2 is a little more involved than you might think, especially the gralloch, there is a fully equipped larder on the estate.
we will make sure your ready to take the level 2.
Pre D.S.C. level 1 training is also available, this includes, firearms safety, shot placement, the shooting test explained and an insight of what is expected regarding the written exam. including the questionnaire 300 + questions and photos explained. Ring Kevin for more information.

Accommodation is available, from a small self catering cottage in Kirkconnel to the friendly Hotel and bar namely the Glendyne in Sanquhar. Sanquhar also boasts the oldest working post office in the world
All great for a weekend or midweek break. your decision.
The highest village in Scotland Wanlockhead is on our doorstep including the highest pub and golf course in Scotland.
Leadhills village, famous for their Lead mines, mine tours and museum not forgetting their short gauge railway,
The famous Drumlanrig Castle and gardens, always has something to offer. A great guided tour, Museum, Fishing, Cycle paths.
All are but a few miles away for you to enjoy.
